Pregnancy - Week 36

By Tempdrop team

Your baby is the size of a head of romaine lettuce by 36 weeks.

Most providers have patients come in for weekly appointments from week 36 until they give birth.

You may experience more pelvic pressure and backaches for the last few weeks of pregnancy. This is because your baby is bigger, and has moved head-down in your uterus. In addition, they may have dropped a little, which means they’ve moved down into the pelvis in preparation for birth. This pressure can increase your risk of developing hemorrhoids, and usually over-the-counter solutions are safe (but always double-check with your healthcare provider!).
