Many women start experiencing increased Braxton Hicks contractions and round ligament pain during the last month or two of pregnancy. This is a great time to slow down and take it easy. Listen to your body and take naps (or rest) as often as possible. This may mean letting others help you when possible.
To relieve some of the aches you may be experiencing you can take warm baths (Not hot! Your bath water should not be hotter than 100F/37.5C) or use heat or cold packs as approved by your provider (be cautious around your abdomen).
You’re entering the last 1-2 months of your pregnancy! If you haven’t set up a baby space yet, this is a great time to do so. If you’re having a baby shower or sprinkle, this is about the time you’ll have that shower too. It’s a great opportunity to finalize everything for your baby!
We recommend packing your hospital bag with essentials for both you and the baby. It may seem early but it’s better to be prepared, and you can add to it as you wish the closer you get to the birth of your baby.
