This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how your personal information is collected and used when you use the Tempdrop and OvuView services ("Tempdrop" and "OvuView" respectively), and the Tempdrop website, available at www.tempdrop.com (the "Website").
Tempdrop and OvuView are online systems that help women to track their fertility cycle. Tempdrop is comprised of a mobile application (the “Tempdrop App”) and an accompanying wearable device (the “Sensor”). OvuView operates solely through a designated mobile application (the "OvuView App"), without an accompanying device. Both mobile applications will be referred to hereinafter together as the "Apps". The Apps and the Website are owned and operated by Tempdrop Ltd. (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
We respect your privacy. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our privacy practices in relation to the Apps and the Website, your rights and the options available to you with respect to your personal information.
PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS | |
Upon registration to the Apps we collect your full name and email address. |
Registration Information. The Apps are available only to Registered Users. When you register to the Apps and open an account, we collect your full name, date of birth, email address and your purpose for using the Apps. When registering to the OvuView App, you may alternatively create an account using your existing account on third-party services such as Facebook or Google, in which case we will collect any personal information that is publicly available on your third-party account, for instance, your Facebook ID, full name and email address. This information is used exclusively to authenticate your identity and grant your access to the OvuView App. |
When you use the Tempdrop App with the Sensor, we collect measurements of your body temperature and motion. We also collect other sensitive health information you provide to us through the App. |
Sensitive Health Information. When you use the Tempdrop App together with the Sensor, we collect measurements of your body temperature and motion. We also collect health-related information that you actively choose to provide to us through the Tempdrop App such as your height, weight, health history/medical conditions, pregnancy status, menstruation, cervical mucus, oral body temperature, cervix status, intercourse, ovulation testing results, premenstrual/hormonal body symptoms, and disturbances (alcohol, sickness and medications). You can also enter free text to the Tempdrop App, for your own notes. Depending on what you type, this text can contain sensitive information. We do not analyze or make use of written text data. |

Sensitive Health Information. We collect any measurements and other sensitive health information you manually enter into the OvuView App. These may include your height, weight, health history/medical conditions, pregnancy status, menstruation, cervical mucus, oral body temperature, cervix status, intercourse, ovulation testing results, premenstrual/hormonal body symptoms or other custom symptoms set by you, and disturbances (alcohol, sickness and medications). You can also enter free text to the OvuView App for your own notes. Depending on what you type, this text can contain sensitive information. We do not analyze or make use of this written text data. Although the OvuView App is not connected to the Sensor or any other external device, you may choose to integrate your Tempdrop App with your OvuView App. In such case, if you use your Tempdrop App with a Sensor, the temperature result collected by the Sensor will be synchronized into the OvuView App. |
When you purchase the Sensor through our website, we collect your full name, mobile phone number and address. | Purchase Information. When you purchase the Sensor through our Website, we collect your full name, mobile phone number and address. We also collect the details of your supported payment method such as PayPal. When payment is made through a third party, the Payment Information is collected and processed by such third party, not directly by us, and is also subject to such third party’s privacy policy. |
When you contact us for technical support or other inquiries, we collect the information related to your inquiry. | Inquiry Information. However, you will not be able to sign up to the Apps without providing us the Registration Information. In addition, you may not be able to benefit from the full functionality of the Apps without providing the Sensitive Health Information and Purchase Information. |
We collect your device information. | Metadata. When you access the Apps or the Website, we collect information about your personal computer or mobile device, including its model, your device’s geolocation, its operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information and the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which you accessed the Apps or the Website. |

When you access the Apps or the Website, we use our own and third-party analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to automatically collect aggregated information about your use of the Apps or Website. The purpose of these is to establish the efficacy of the Tempdrop App and Sensor and to aid advances in the field of women’s sexual and reproductive health. We will never use your free entered notes or any free typed text which you may enter into the Tempdrop App. We may publicly share insights learned from this data for the purpose of aiding the understanding of women's health and establishing the efficacy of the Tempdrop App and Sensor. Publicly shared data will always be on an aggregated, anonymised basis that does not contain any identifying or identifiable information. |
