Third-trimester symptoms may be ramping up a bit. More symptoms you may experience include constipation, haemorrhoids, UTIs, shortness of breath (as your uterus may start to press on your diaphragm), and dizziness. Make sure you’re getting plenty of water and snacks with fiber. Though it may be getting uncomfortable to move around, it’s also important to get enough movement throughout the day. If it’s nice outside, walks are a great way to get some sunshine too.
This is the time to start researching how to baby-proof your home and purchasing a car seat if you haven’t already. We also recommend you practice installing it in your car.
You can also continue your research about the postpartum period and put in place an action plan for:
- Breastfeeding
- Physical and emotional support
- Family planning
