What is the Right to be Forgotten?

The Right to be Forgotten empowers individuals to request the deletion of their personal data from our records, under certain circumstances. If you would like your data to be removed from our systems, you have the right to make such a request.

How to Request Data Deletion:

1. Delete Your Account: If you are a user of the Tempdrop app, you can initiate the data deletion process directly through the app:
   • Open the Tempdrop app.
   • Go to "Settings."
   • Navigate to "User Settings" and then "User Privacy."
   • Select "Delete My Account" to initiate the data deletion process.
2. Submit a Request: If you are unable to delete your account through the app or have further inquiries, you can submit your data deletion request through the following method:
   • Email: Send an email to support@temp-drop.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."

   In your email, please provide the following details:

   • Your full name
   • Email address associated with your account
   • Any relevant account details that will help us identify your data
3. Wait for Confirmation: After receiving your request, we will acknowledge its receipt and initiate the verification process. We may need additional information to confirm your identity or clarify your request.
4. Data Deletion: Once your identity is verified, and your request is deemed valid, we will promptly proceed with the deletion of your personal data from our systems. Please note that certain legal obligations or legitimate interests may require us to retain some data even after your request is fulfilled.

Timeframe for Data Deletion:

We strive to process all data deletion requests as quickly as possible. However, please allow us up to 7 business days to review and fulfill your request. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the complexity of the request and the volume of requests we receive.
