Changing the battery will not affect your temp results.
What you need
Battery |
Tempdrop uses an inexpensive CR2032 3V lithium coin cell battery. It can be purchased on Amazon or at any store with button-type (watch) batteries. We recommend using a brand name battery where possible. Important: Remove any stickers or plastic film from the battery before inserting. |
Opening tool |
Every Tempdrop ships with a wand to help replace the battery. Alternatively, you can these tools online by searching for "spudger" or "phone opening” tool. (see example below) Warning: Do not use a metal tool- this can cause damage and void the warranty. Similar plastic implements or fingernails can be used if the recommended wand is not available. Using the wrong battery type or incorrectly inserting the battery could cause damage and void the warranty. |
